A 2-Hour Somatic Breathwork Journey
Guided and facilitated by experienced facilitator, Mandy Francisty
An invitation to come home to your body — to move, feel, and release through breath, sound, and movement.
This experience is for those ready to let go of what no longer serves and reconnect with their inner aliveness.
These sessions are designed to create a safe, relaxing and supportive space for you to come and RELEASE.
This could include, emotions, stress, past trauma, worries. All of this if we keep it ‘stuck’ in our bodies, minds and spirit make us feel flat, stressed, anxious, depressed and unmotivated for life.
However, when you release these ‘low vibrations’ you can feel light, energised, grounded, peaceful, calm, motivated, joyful, clear and inspired for life!
By feeling into the Sh#tty energy we can then allow them to pass through our bodies to then feel the lighter energy we deserve and desire.
This is as SAFE SPACE to feel. A place where expressing and feeling emotions is very welcome, encouraged and normalised!
We begin with intention setting and optional sharing, creating a grounded and supportive space to open up to your experience.
Then we drop into 20 minutes of somatic movement — shaking, swaying, sounding, stomping, and free intuitive movement to awaken the body, mobilise stored emotions, and reconnect to your natural rhythm. No right or wrong — just real, raw, and untamed expression.
From there, you’ll be guided through 40 minutes of conscious connected breathwork, a deeply transformative practice that supports emotional release, nervous system regulation, and expansion of self-awareness. This is your chance to breathe out what’s heavy and invite in clarity, peace, and power.
After the breath, we move into 20 minutes of integration meditation, allowing your body and energy to settle, ground, and receive the wisdom of what has unfolded.
We’ll then journal and (optionally) share reflections, giving voice and form to your inner experience.
Next, we move into 10 minutes of gentle embodied movement, inviting the body to express, soften, and anchor the shifts that have taken place.
We close with a self-care and integration talk, offering tools and guidance to support continued regulation and embodiment in daily life.
This is your space to shake it out, breathe it through, and release what’s ready to go — so you can return home to yourself feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply grounded.

BREATHWORK
Every human experiences trauma at some point in their life. These can be often categorised as with ‘big traumas’ like sexual abuse, war, deaths or ‘little traumas’ such as breakups, stress at work, financial trouble. The list goes on for both of these and all trauma ‘big’ or ‘small'
has an impact o our bodies and subconscious minds. Over time, these impacts can compound and become further internalised, manifesting as physical or emotional symptoms.
Conscious breathing and breathwork can help process and release the experiences of trauma. Just as breathwork has many positive effects on alleviating anxiety and managing stress, trauma for breathwork can help heal, release, and restore aspects of ourselves that are impacted by traumatic events.
What is Breathwork?
There are many forms of ‘breathwork’ that are available to you, however this style of breathwork is conscious and intentional breathing that releases trauma stored in the body. You breath in and out of the mouth for a prolonged period of time and are facilitated by a qualified practitioner in a safe and private environment. Intentional trauma breathwork helps with trauma processing and healing by bypassing the conscious mind, deactivating the sympathetic nervous system, and having a restorative effect on its practitioners.
Breathwork is a therapeutic technique that brings breathers into an altered state of consciousness. It works by creating a safe space for deep relaxation, where one can feel uninhibited and free to express any emotions or physical movements that come up during a session. Ultimately, breathing techniques for trauma are designed to facilitate self-healing through connection to breath — permitting whatever comes up to be expressed, processed, and released.
Breathwork and trauma release are deeply connected. By creating a space for expression and processing, trauma for breathwork invokes a deep relaxation and a trance-like state, allowing for suppressed thoughts and stored emotions from trauma to more easily move towards the surface and be released.
Breathwork promotes emotional release and integration, processing stored memories within the subconscious. Breathwork also counters the physical effects of trauma, deactivating the flight-or-fight response which is switched on when undergoing a traumatic even and moving you into ‘rest and digest’ which is important for a healthy mind, body and soul.

What to expect in a session?
A 1:1 sessions go for 90 minutes, 1 hour of ‘breathing and relaxation’ (this can be extended if you the practitioner thinks you will benefit from an extended relaxation). Group Breathwork goes for 2 hours, with more time to share for everyone. On arrival you will have a consultation and have a chance to speak about what is going on in your life and set an intention for your breath work session. At the end of the session there is time to speak and share what you experienced and your practitioner will provide you with some tools for integration and self care post session.
Anything shared or experienced in the session is 100% confidential.
All you need to do is bring yourself and an open heart and mind. Also dress in comfortable clothes that the practitioner can easily see your belly moving in while breathing.
Contraindications:
Trauma breathwork can often be an intense and deep process both emotionally and physically. Because of its powerful effect and vigorous nature, practicing these breathing for trauma exercises is not for everyone. There are numerous contraindications to consider before practicing breath work which will be sent to you via a form if when you enquire about a 1:1 or group breath work session/s. You will be required to get a health clearance from your medical practitioner before commencing any sessions if you have any contradictions.
Breathwork is a 100% natural and also safe practise to heal!

A Massive Yes From Me!!! I have been visiting Mandy for the last 6 months. I wanted to explore what Breathwork could do for me. I always meditated and believed this could take it to the next level. Well I was not wrong. I started with some private classes and then moved into small group classes and have been to a 1 day retreat.
