SOMATIC DANCE: Dance to the Beat of Your Own Heart
SOMATIC DANCE: Dance to the Beat of Your Own Heart
An evening to move, feel, express, and come home to your body — and most importantly, to have FUN while doing it! This is the FIRST Somatic Dance event of its kind in Western Australia.
This is a practice of dancing to the beat of your own heart. Through intuitive movement, we explore our inner world, connect to the magnificence of our hearts, and attune to our own rhythms. Somatic Dance invites you to move in a way that feels good for you — empowering you to follow what lights you up, both on the dance floor and in life. A space to feel free, embodied, and alive.
What is Somatic Dance?
Somatic Dance is a free-flowing, intentional movement practice founded by Sarsha Hope. It explores the connection between body, mind, and emotions, encouraging awareness, presence, and deep self-connection. There are no steps to follow or choreography — just move from the inside out and connect with your own rhythm.
