Mandy uses techniques from her Neuro-Linguistics Programming to guide you into a deep restorative space and to help heal your MIND, BODY & SOUL. Her classes teach and guide you to learn to HEAL YOURSELF through your breath. Altering your mindset & taking charge of your emotions!!
The poses are designed to release emotions stored in the body also, to prevent illness, pain, tightness and ailments. Your emotions and past trauma can be stored in your body. So it is important to learn to manage and remove these toxins and toxic thoughts out of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.

Mandy’s yoga provides you with a wholistic approach and experience to health and spirituality, something that is rare to find from just “googling” your yoga.

Mandy’s classes have been incredible. Mandy’s multi-disciplinary approach to yoga and meditation really makes her shine as a teacher, and the breathing-work alone is something that has alleviated much of the anxiety and depression that has plagued me for a very long time. Life can be stressful, so Mandy also gives you the tools to take her teaching and apply it in day-to-day situations, giving you that oasis of calm in a hectic world. I never was a huge yoga person. Would do it occasionally but mainly for injury prevention. I mostly would feel out of my depth and would struggle with so many poses . My first session was Yoga Nidra on a Friday evenings with Mandy. I have never felt a feeling like it!! It was so amazing to feel at peace with your body and mind. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed.. There is no judgement or criticism. She provides a comfortable and caring environment. I could not recommend Mandy enough!!

I was fortunate to discover Mandy not long after she had arrived into Christchurch from Perth earlier this year.
I think my lucky stars were aligned on that day!
Having participated in yoga practices over the past five years, around the world on work trips and overseas holidays and also here in Christchurch, I find yoga has taught me to take a focus on what is important to me in the here and now, physically and emotionally.
Mandy has been able to teach me a yoga practice (you will need to pop in here the name of the practices ) that brought the best of everything together. The head massage at the end is like the icing on the cake.
I would recommend anyone at any age and stage in yoga to come along to Mandy’s boutique studio on Durham Street for what is the best yoga in the world. She will make you feel like you are the only one that matters!

Mandy is such a warm, giving, beautiful person who gives her all to make every class, workshop or retreat a holistic experience that completely lifts you up. At the time I started taking classes at Find Your Light, I had been taking a break from a consistent yoga practice. But, as soon as, I started working with Mandy, I was hooked. I really enjoy Mandy’s stretch flow yoga classes. As a guy who is into my gym and live a very active fast paced life i find that it helps with my flexibility and progression in the gym. The weekend outdoors class is my favourite. It’s a Great way to start the weekend by doing some yoga in the sun in a peaceful park. Highly recommend it.

I was fortunate enough to have a one on one yoga session with Mandy in early February this year. I had been training for an up coming competition in March and thought I could probably use the session as part of my weekly training/recovery. I got a lot more than a good stretching session. Through Mandy’s calm teaching I let go of not only some physical tension I was carrying around but some emotional baggage as well, I wasn’t expecting this. Mandy gave me the time and space to experience my feelings and I left feeling lighter in my head, heart and body.
My first experience was so good I’ve continued to see Mandy in a group session weekly which I love and look forward to. It’s my gift to myself each week, a way of being kind to my body.
